At least three days of food in an airtight, waterproof container. Have a supply of medicine that your pet takes on a regular basis and their medical record. Have collars, pet carriers, and a current picture of each pet.

Have a meeting place in times of an emergency. This allows family members to easily account for one another, and quickly determine whether someone is missing.
