Truckee Police Department officers are trained to handle any call, and they receive specialized training in various disciplines almost every month. Truckee PD officers have attended specialized schools, such as, Bike Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Dive Rescue, Defensive Tactics, Active Shooter, Range Master, and various other specialties.
