Sgt. Lopez Nominated and Selected to Receive the Paul Harris Fellow Award

Every year the Rotary Club of Truckee awards the Paul Harris Fellow award to an individual for their generosity and always going beyond vocation and expectation in the community.
This year, our very own Sgt. Lopez was nominated and selected to receive this award. Sgt. Lopez embodies the ethos of Rotary Club naturally. Over the years he continues to Adopt a Family during the holidays for families in need. He is frequent visitor of the Senior Center, whether that’s to deliver gifts during the holidays, the annual pancake breakfast, or just stopping by to check in. Sgt. Lopez has been part of the Readers are Leaders, the reading program at the elementary schools and has been a coach in the community for youth sports. He was awarded Officer of the Year in 2005 and is someone you can always count on.
