Our goal is to reunite people and their pets.
If you lose or find a pet in Truckee or North Lake Tahoe, your first call should be to Animal Services 530-582-2484. We keep a lost and found log that is shared with Truckee Community Services Officers, Placer County Animal Services, and the Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe. We are often able to match up people and pets over the phone. We have staff at the Animal Shelter on Stevens Lane in Truckee 365 days a year.
